Over the years the functionality of the software product RasKon has expanded significantly with the same price level. Most of the software in the world is sold on a subscription basis with an annual renewal fee, following global trends we are changing the sales model to better develop the product and provide technical support. Also as part of the new pricing we are introducing a partial reconciliation/update of settings to a limited extent when installing profiles/fittings databases. We announce two new cloud backup database service, this will allow for a small fee to keep a few actual copies of the database in our cloud in encrypted form with all the privacy terms and do not worry about loss of information in case of equipment failure or computer virus infection. Also on 01.01.2018 we are introducing an annual fee for updates to the FULL version of the program with a STAY KEY at the level of $50 per year. More than 20 years we released updates and did not charge for them, but keeping the product up to date, working on the introduction of new functionality, bug fixes in functionality and its development requires significant financial costs. The fee is introduced for all full versions of the programs with a permanent key, regardless of when they were purchased. With the purchase of the program now includes 1 year of updates. Thus all full programs received before 01.01.2017 to be able to update will need to pay a subscription to receive updates from 01.01.2018. Programs purchased after 01.01.2017 in its composition have 1 year subscription to update and if you want to get the latest version of programs will need to renew the subscription at the end of 1 year from the date of receipt of the program. Fee for receiving updates does not apply to dealer programs, to owners of active subscription to unlimited dealer program, to full programs for rent (under the subscription system, with an annual fee). Technical and consulting support that does not require program updates remains free of charge. If the user runs out of subscription to updates, his program remains fully functional in the latest version that was at the time of the end of the subscription.
