This section describes the mechanism of transferring (regular updating) prices, settings from the full version of the program to the dealer version. The first part shows how the dealer database is formed in the full version of the program, the second part shows how it is installed to the dealer.

How to create a "dealer database" in the full version of the program (window manufacturer). This section is only necessary for window manufacturers to know what information they have to provide to the dealer.

Before forming the dealer base, it is necessary to check the correctness of setting the "profitability for dealers" coefficients. To do this, go to the "Directories" menu and select the "order templates" item.

Double-click the left mouse button to open the template.

Click the "template order parameters" button.

Set "profitability for dealer program": "Retail" - here you need to specify the profitability by which the dealer version of the program will form the retail price at the dealer. If the profitability in this field corresponds to the manufacturer's profitability, the dealer program will count windows at the manufacturer's price. By default, the manufacturer's profitability is taken from field #3 of the "Profitability" section. Thus, the selling price of the product at the dealer and manufacturer will be the same if the field #3 of the "Profitability" section has the same value as the "Retail" field. "Purchase" is used by the program when calculating the purchase price of the product for the dealer (the price at which the manufacturer releases this product to the dealer). In the dealer version, the program makes a second calculation of the cost for each product taking into account the "Purchase" profitability and displays it on the "order sheet" in the "purchase" field. There is also an option ""purchase" ("purchase price") to count not as profitability, but as a discount from the retail price of the design" - it changes the action of the "purchase" box to a discount from the retail price of the design. If this option is set, the program calculates the retail value of the construction with "retail" profitability, and determines the purchase price as retail price with a discount, and the "purchase" box is the value of this "dealer" discount.

Perform this procedure in all templates. After you have set "profitability for dealer program" in all templates, close "order templates" and go to the menu "utilities" item "generate dealer base".

Formation takes place as follows. In the network version of the program, first close the program on all computers except yours (this is very important, otherwise you may lose all your information). Then select this menu item. The program will ask a question:

In the "enter password" and "password confirmation" fields, enter the password for the database. This will provide additional protection for the database when transferring information, but setting a password for the database is not a mandatory procedure. Click "OK". The program will show where it has generated the file for updating "dealer.zp". This completes the formation of the dealer base. After that it is necessary to transfer the file "dealer.zp" to the remote/dealer point of order acceptance. How to install the "dealer database" in the dealer version of the program (at the dealer).

You need to ask the window manufacturer to provide you with a dealer database (file "dealer.zp"). It should be written to the dealer program (by default "C:\Program Files\Ccalc6.80Dealer") in the DATA directory. The user name and password for entering the program should be obtained from the manufacturer who provided the database.
